At one time or another we’ve all been searching for something.

Maybe you’re searching now. There’s a gap, or a hole, or just someting off.  Something more that you want or need.

Maybe you can’t put your finger on exactly what it is, but it’s there.

That happened to me back in 2009.  I had lost my job and had a very eclectic background at the time. I didn’t know what to do.

That’s when I was introduced to blogging.

I’ll be honest, as my friend was explaining it to me I rolled my eyes. I ROLLED MY EYES!  WTF was I thinking?

I was thinking I didn’t have anything to write about. I was thinking who in the world cared what I had to say? Who would listen?

My heart pounded at the idea of putting all of this effort into something to have two people read it.

Sound Familiar?

Even if your circumstances are different, it doesn’t change the fact that blogging is HARD.

I’d like to say it isn’t, that it’s easy, but it’s not. It takes time, passion and the ability to go after what you want, ever single day.

Many times we find our time as bloggers is spent alone, in front of a computer screen or working on our phones while we wait in line.  There are lots of blogging conferences out there, but travel is expensive. There are Facebook groups that all seem to be doing similar things, but even those are lacking.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m not bashing these options AT ALL.  They are awesome and helpful!   I just want to create something better and more accessable.

A place bloggers can learn, collaborate

and grow together.

I figured there had to be something better than what was out there already because it was too time consuming and expensive.  When I couldn’t find what I was looking for, I decided to create it myself.

Boss Bloggers was created to accomplish 3 things.

1. To Teach

If there is one thing I can say about bloggers as a generality it’s that we never stop learning.  We are always reading, always wanting to know more. So Boss Bloggers will strive to create some of the best content around about things that matter to bloggers and can make their lives better.

2. To Foster Collaboration

There are ways for bloggers to work together, but it could be easier, much easier.  We’re fixing that with our weekly collaboration emails.  Want to work with another blogger on a project?  A brand partnership? Have a “Best of” post coming up and you need items to add?  Submit a query!  It’s sent in the weekly email to all of our members where they can reach out to you about your request.

3. Help Bloggers Grow

We’re all after the same goal, and we can help each other achieve it.  Whether it’s sharing on social media or republishing content (with permission) we can help eachother grow.  Once you’re on our list, you’ll be able to be added to our directory, and many more things coming up!

I do hope you’ll join us. Let’s take on this blogging adventure together.  Sign up below!  And you can ALWAYS email me with questions, comments or just to chat!
